Introducing Google Meets and Logitech Scribe: Interact with Meetings using White Board Technology!
Google has recently unveiled an exciting update for its Microsoft Teams competitor, Google Meets. With the integration of whiteboard cameras, participants can now engage with meetings using physical whiteboards seamlessly.
During its launch phase, the Logitech Scribe emerges as the exclusive whiteboard camera certified by Google. Priced at £1200, this advanced AI-assisted camera captures stunning 1080p video at 15fps from an overhead position.
In their announcement, Google hinted at forthcoming partnerships to expand content camera support, promising updates as new developments arise.
To facilitate this innovative functionality, Google Meets’ user interface has been modified to incorporate a dedicated “Whiteboard Camera” option for presenters during meetings.
Scheduled for a gradual rollout by the end of June, Google emphasizes that the Scribe must be connected to the meeting device to utilize this feature.
